Who am I, really?
Hi, I’m Jesslyn! I grew up between Indonesia and Singapore before finding my way to Berkeley, where I’m now a junior studying Data Science and Design Innovation.
I’m a product designer and design engineer who learned most of what I know by crafting and building. I love designing and shipping things that make people’s lives easier, happier, and funner.
At Cal, I’ve found a home in the design community and spent a lot of my time with organizations working to make design more accessible. I’ve been lucky to be a part of Cal Blueprint (opens in a new tab), Mobile Developers of Berkeley (opens in a new tab), Blockchain at Berkeley (opens in a new tab), and Berkeleytime (opens in a new tab).

What I’ve been up to
I just wrapped up my internship at Mirage (opens in a new tab), a startup building AI models that generate and edit video. Now I’m designing a trail accessibility app for BORP (opens in a new tab), a Bay Area nonprofit, through Cal Blueprint.
Outside of school, I love traveling and saying yes to things I’ve never tried before. I went skydiving not too long ago, and I just ranked my 100th restaurant on Beli (opens in a new tab) 🍜
